About the tier ratings: The A/B/B+ tiers are our own subjective ranking based on the signals below — they are not an industry standard. There is no universal IVF clinic rating system. The closest official quality markers are:

Everything else (Google ratings, forum reputation, self-reported success rates, patient satisfaction surveys) is informal. Individually each is a weak signal, but taken together they paint a useful picture.

  • + ICSI always, MSS / Zymot chip sperm selection, time-lapse incubator standard

  • 2nd-stim ultrasound (CD10/11) must be in Brno — implies a longer single CZ stay rather than two shorter trips

Apr 29 consult: Joint doctor + coordinator call. Joanna Watkowska was the standout — sharp, prepared, clean separation of clinical vs. logistical questions. Doctor's protocol view: higher gonadotropin dose (possible Asian-ethnicity adjustment), stable dose (3rd CZ clinic to flag the 200/400 alternation as "strange"), Pergoveris, ICSI always, MSS/Zymot sperm chip. PGT-A turnaround 3–4 weeks (external Brno genetics lab). No sex selection (CZ law). 1-month break between retrievals. Storage no time cap; treatment cap age 49. Full consult notes →

Awaiting Prices
Head doctor MUDr. Aleš Sobek, Ph.D. responded personally. Cooperates with Versys clinic in Budapest for monitoring — patients come to Olomouc only for oocyte pickup (1 day). Can start ~16 days from inquiry. Can do back-to-back cycles (though doctor is not a fan). Consultation via Teams possible. Coordinator Monika Bartíková (coordinator@fertimed.cz, +420 602 782 020) confirmed receipt Apr 9 — pricing details coming. All further communication goes through Monika. Very limited online reviews — presence is small-clinic/academic rather than international-patient focused.

Convenience & Logistics

Home bases: Gyöngyös (Adam's parents, 3200) and Budapest (Adam's sister). Monitoring appointments happen frequently (7–10 per cycle) so a Budapest monitoring partner is a major advantage — only 2–4 trips to the procedure clinic abroad.

Clinic Procedure City From Gyöngyös Drive Time Budapest Monitoring HU-Speaking Staff Trips Abroad
Has Budapest monitoring partner (fewest trips abroad)
Gyncare Košice ~200 km ~2.5 hrs ✓ Istenhegyi 3–4 trips
Repromeda Brno ~320 km ~3.5 hrs ✓ LilyMed ~2 trips
★ ReproGenesis Brno ~320 km ~3.5 hrs ✓ (coordinator to recommend) ~2 trips
Direct — all monitoring at clinic (7–10 trips abroad)
★ Reprofit International Brno ~320 km ~3.5 hrs Hungarian website 7–10 trips
Sanatorium Helios Brno ~320 km ~3.5 hrs 7–10 trips
IVF Zlin Zlin ~380 km ~3.5 hrs HU coordinator 7–10 trips
TFP Fertility Kraków ~350 km ~4 hrs 7–10 trips
IVF Cube Prague ~530 km ~5.5 hrs 7–10 trips
Europe IVF Intl. Prague ~530 km ~5.5 hrs 7–10 trips
ISCARE Prague ~530 km ~5.5 hrs 7–10 trips
Unica Clinic Brno or Prague 320–530 km 3.5–5.5 hrs 7–10 trips

Can any of the process happen in Hungary? Yes, with the two Budapest partnership models:

Worth asking other clinics: Whether they'd accept monitoring results from a local Budapest or Gyöngyös gynaecologist. Some clinics (especially Brno ones with international patient programs) may be flexible, which would dramatically reduce trips abroad even without a formal partnership.

Prague is far: At 530 km / 5.5 hrs each way, Prague clinics (IVF Cube, ISCARE, Europe IVF, Unica Prague) require 7–10 round trips for monitoring unless they accept remote monitoring. This is a significant logistics penalty vs. Brno (320 km) or Košice (200 km).

Day-trip feasibility: Košice (2.5 hrs) is easily a same-day round trip from Gyöngyös. Brno (3.5 hrs) is doable but tiring. Prague (5.5 hrs) likely needs an overnight.

IVF Cube — Forum Quotes

Source: FindBestClinic.com — 4.7/5, 420+ reviews

Die "Prinzessin Lillifee" — Feb 2026 (translated from German)
"IVF Cube is our 4th fertility clinic after three German ones, including two bad experiences and one private clinic that made the right diagnosis and recommended going abroad. Based on these experiences, IVF Cube is very professionally set up: after the initial consultation, an IVF coordinator is assigned as a contact person for really all questions, and our dear Mrs. Králová always replied in German within a day and answered all questions to our full satisfaction. Medications are also cheaper to buy on-site than in Germany. We were very well guided through the process and became pregnant in the first cycle. IVF Cube works professionally, individually, reliably, transparently, and doesn't promise the moon. We recommend this clinic 100%."
ES Yang — Feb 2026 (translated from German)
"After six years of trying, we finally have our son. In Germany we had four unsuccessful IVF attempts. Initially we hesitated to try in Czechia due to the distance. In Germany we lost a lot of time and money, and since I'm over 40, I was very worried about time. After choosing this clinic, we didn't lose any more time. December 2024 first consultation, January 2025 treatment started, March transfer, December our son was born. The first attempt at Cube was successful. The decision for PGT was also very good, as it can reduce failed attempts and save a lot of time."
SP HUDA — Jan 2026 (translated from German)
"We can recommend the IVF CUBE fertility center with all our hearts. If we could give more than 5 stars we would gladly do so. We never believed our wish for a child could come true given our difficult health circumstances. But through the wonderful work of IVF CUBE, our dream has now come true and we have a healthy, beautiful baby. Our treating physician Dr. Visnova always advised us very competently and was always very empathetic. Our coordinator Mrs. Conradova was always reachable and addressed all our questions and concerns, and supported us very well on a human level too."
LenaWe — Jan 2026 (translated from German)
"After 2 unsuccessful ICSIs in Germany, we turned to the Cube team. We were exceptionally professionally cared for from the beginning. The personal customer care concept is an absolute advantage. Email responses come within a few hours, without exception. Our third ICSI was performed at IVF Cube. 12 eggs retrieved, 10 fertilized, 6 blastocysts. The first transfer was already successful. I can only recommend making the journey abroad — specifically to IVF Cube! It is considerably more successful and in some cases more advanced than German fertility practices."

★ Reprofit International — Forum Quotes

Source: Mumsnet — Reprofit Clinic @Brno

Persephone12 — Oct 2022, Mumsnet
"I'm a Reprofit patient and have been with them for two years. I did my own egg twice (2020 and 2021) and I got pregnant each time, but sadly miscarried. We did Donor egg this year and had a better experience, my baby is due next month. In regard to the clinic; they're really good and in my experience I didn't notice any issues with their hygiene; quite the opposite so I would recommend them."
Persephone12 — Oct 2022, Mumsnet
"With the miscarriages I did do immunology testing (a range of blood tests) over there and it was really helpful. It was a lot cheaper there too! It did identify several blood conditions that I had, as well as elevated NK cells. It was a game changer as they adapted my medical protocol the third time round and I think that's why we're now successful."
AliceAbsolum — May 2022, Mumsnet
"I went in 2019 to do a donor egg cycle. Personally I had an awful time, they gave me my money back as there were no good quality embryos. They didn't wash their hands before scanning me, the waits to be seen were long. It was horrible. But. A lot of women love it there and had good outcomes. It's impossible to know."
Plke2020 — Aug 2024, Mumsnet
"I had a terrible cold and lonely experience with Reprofit, Brno, they showed an enormous lack of interest in my case and I just felt like a number. I saw lots of positive reviews about them and I am really sorry for the day I read them thinking these people could help us. They provided an impersonal service, miscommunication, language barriers. A coordinator with zero medical knowledge was in charge of my IVF medication. I was advised to undergo a very expensive test that I never needed. They don't even provide international patients with mental support and there is no follow up after a negative result."
Persephone12 — Aug 2024, Mumsnet (reply to above)
"The reason the clinic is a lot cheaper (than what you'd pay in the UK) is because there is no fertility mental health support service. You do just pay for IVF treatment and you have to be your own advocate with this clinic, completely researching every possibility, and questioning everything including random tests they suggest. I really do believe you get what you pay for at this clinic. Don't rely on them to talk you through it, this is not a specialist private clinic in the UK with any trimmings. I have a beautiful 21 month old son now so I owe a lot to Reprofit, but you have to do the background work yourself."

"My Reprofit baby is now six months old and asleep upstairs. The standard of care was great. It was all unbelievably efficient. The clinic is lovely, clean and well equipped." First cycle successful with frozen embryos remaining.
ChocolateGateaux84 — Aug 2019, Mumsnet
"Excellent, professional, clean, caring, affordable — the list goes on. I'm 31 weeks thanks to Reprofit after numerous failed cycles in UK."
AliceAbsolum — Aug 2019, Mumsnet
"I've just come back. On the one hand they were great, very clean, nice staff, very efficient, Brno is great. But a Doctor scanned me internally — he didn't put gloves on and he DIDN'T WASH HIS HANDS. Shook our hands, sat down, typed stuff out on the computer, then picked up the wand! But I'd go again, 100%."
Viletta — Aug 2019, Mumsnet
"They have much more for less money. In UK I've got 7 eggs and 3 fertilized, 1 made it to day 3. In Czech 9 eggs, all fertilized! 3 made it to blasts!"
Persephone12 — May 2023, Mumsnet
"I have a beautiful 6 month old son from this clinic now so I can say with confidence you are in good hands. There's a really helpful Facebook Group called Reprofit Brno International Support Forum where you can ask further questions and share concerns."
greenvase1 — Nov 2019, Mumsnet
"I have been in contact with Reprofit and was told that many women don't have an initial consultation. She also said the doctor wouldn't be free for a consultation until February. Does anyone else think this is too long a wait, or that agreeing to treatment without a consultation is wise?"

Source: YourIVFJourney.com — 5 Reasons Why We Chose Reprofit

YourIVFJourney blog (couple with two Reprofit daughters)
"Low prices still mean high-quality treatment because salaries in the Czech Republic are lower than in the UK. Embryo freezing was 300 euros for one year at Reprofit. At a well-known London clinic we were quoted almost £1,000. The key thing was that the results at Reprofit were clearly explained and consistent. There were no wild claims, just honest and solid figures. We look back today with real gratitude at the way we were cared for by Reprofit."

"We are planning for IVF in Czech and we have shortlisted two clinics. But unfortunately I can't see any reviews about one of them! Sanatorium Helios in Brno, they are ranked fourth in the world but I like to know real life experience."
Fabsco — Aug 2021, Mumsnet
"I also saw at the GCR website that they are the fourth best IVF clinic in the world and was keen to hear from them, but wasn't impressed by their questionnaires or approach. They offered an online consultation (priced at 100 euros) without asking to see any previous tests or treatment notes from us. Haven't come across any positive reviews so far on Sanatorium Helios."

"We visited three reproductive clinics in total and the approach at Sanatorium Helios suited us the most. All the staff treated us very kindly and willingly. We also positively note that they offered us more extensive and detailed tests than other clinics. Thanks to them we have our daughter."
Andrea Svitakova — Feb 2026 (translated from Czech) — 1/5 stars
"We drove to this clinic from Prague, waking up at 4 AM. I miscarried 3 times there, even PGT-A tested embryos. They didn't know what to do with us. This clinic completely lacks an individual approach. I'm disappointed that despite my requests they didn't do further tests."
Pavel Pachta — Jan 2026 (translated from German)

IVF Zlin — Forum Quotes

Source: FindBestClinic — 4.9/5

Laura Lambruschini — Jan 2026 (translated from French)
"After a failed fertility journey in France, we decided to go to the Czech Republic. We were perfectly supported at IVF Zlin; they listened to our requests and answered our many questions with kindness. The all-inclusive formula offers real comfort — you don't have to think about anything except getting to Vienna, they come pick you up, and the hotel attached to the clinic was perfect! After years of fertility treatment, it only took one visit to Zlin for our son to be with us 9 months later."
Anna Mai — Nov 2025 — 1/5 stars
"If you have unexplained infertility, they probably won't help you much here. They won't look for the cause, they'll just do IVF and then it's up to luck — whether it works or not. Their goal is not to get you pregnant, but to do IVF and make money from it. I can't recommend this clinic."
Mariann Fischer — Sep 2025
"In 2024 we had a wonderful experience with the IVF Zlin clinic. After many years of unsuccessful attempts finally our dreams have come true. The clinic is highly professional with great care from medical and human point of view. I felt the care what I needed which was combined with professional medical treatment and personal focus. They made the time we have spent there safe, with no pressure, and as friendly as possible."
Aliesia Mirozhyna — Jun 2025
"For 10 years, we fought to become parents. An incredible number of tests, surgeries, and five IVF programs are behind us. And, after all this time, I can proudly say that there are now THREE of us. Thanks to the Clinic for Reproductive Medicine and Gynecology in Zlín, we became parents. A special THANK YOU to our attending physician, Stanislav Los Chovanec, and especially to Angela Nemesh for their help, support, and perseverance."
Edit Blázy-Horváth — Feb 2025

As a final attempt, we reached the clinic in Zlin, where we fell into a pleasant and calm environment: extremely kind and smiling faces and a fantastically well-cooperative team. We are very happy because we were successful the first time, our little boy was born in December!"

Kris Tina — Feb 2026 (translated from German)
"Our experiences with Europe IVF are thoroughly positive from first contact to successful end. I had 2 stimulations: when the first wasn't as successful as hoped, everything was discussed and medications adjusted for the next attempt with additional methods, so we were very satisfied with the second stimulation result. The PGT-A result came within about 3 weeks and we could then plan the transfer very quickly. The first transfer was already successful for us. We had wonderful care from Veronika — always reachable (even on weekends if needed). Only minor criticism: a few times the issued prescriptions weren't quite optimal for the stimulation protocol (e.g. Estrifam dosage). Our son was born healthy a few weeks ago and in Prague more potential siblings are waiting."

"We couldn't be happier. From the very first contact we felt excellently cared for, taken seriously, and humanly supported. Special thanks to our coordinator Lucie Krobova — always reachable, incredibly empathetic, competent, and guided us through every step with patience and heart. You never had the feeling of being just 'a number.' Our little treasure is now 4 months old — it worked on the very first try. Compared to our experiences with a clinic in Germany, worlds apart — both professionally and humanly."
Mehrnaz F — Dec 2025
"After two years of unsuccessful attempts to get pregnant, I found International Europe IVF Prague while living in Germany. My coordinator, Veronika, supported me from day one, translated everything into German, and never let me feel alone. The doctors were excellent, the atmosphere was warm and comforting, and everything was well organized. I had my embryo transfer on December 17, and today my home pregnancy test is positive."
Negative review (via search results)
"The clinic had staffing issues. Embryologist's report quality was poor. No empathy for patients and slow to reply to emails."

Key Takeaways

Top tier for IVF + PGT-A specifically: Repromeda (in-house genetics, 58% SET success after PGT, first PGT pregnancy in CEE) and IVF Cube (ESHRE certified, flat PGT-A pricing, highest review volume). Reprofit is the safest all-around choice with multi-cycle guarantee and 27k babies.

Best logistics from Gyöngyös: Gyncare Košice (200 km) with Istenhegyi Budapest monitoring, or Repromeda Brno (320 km) with LilyMed Budapest monitoring. Both avoid 7–10 monitoring trips abroad.

Watch out: Europe IVF International has the weakest review profile despite being in active contact. Their >68% success claim is unverified and significantly higher than any comparable clinic. Proceed with caution.

Data gaps: Poliklinika IVF has no online presence for international patients. Fertimed (Olomouc) responded — head doctor replied personally, cooperates with Versys Budapest, but pricing and reviews still TBD.

Success rate caveat: Clinics report success differently (per ET, per cycle start, cumulative, clinical pregnancy vs. live birth). The numbers above are not directly comparable across clinics. Ask each clinic for live birth rate per embryo transfer with own eggs, age 39–40 for the most relevant metric.
