| Phase | Window | Shape |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-departure | May 18–22 (BC) | Vancouver childcare arrangement governs. Sprints possible during whatever care is in place. Move logistics dominates. |
| Travel | May 23 | Departure day. No schedule. |
| Arrival | May 24–31 | Family settling. No bölcsőde yet. Sprints compressed or skipped; light cubbylist monitoring only. Ádám may take Nathan some hours to give you blocks. |
| Beszoktatás | ~June 1–15 (overlaps Cycle 1) | Settling-in period at bölcsőde. Parent (you) typically attends with Nathan, ramping from 1 hr to full days over 1–2 weeks. This overlaps the first cycle window. Expect work time to be near zero some days. |
| Canonical | ~mid-June onward | Grid above applies. Phase B cycle weeks still vary (see below). |
Worth confirming the exact beszoktatás length with the bölcsőde directly (37/313-619 or bolcsode.dobo@hivatul.gyongyos.hu) so the Cycle 1 expectations are accurate.
This week is still in Vancouver, not yet on the Hungary template. Sprint slots depend on Nathan's current childcare arrangement. Sat May 23 is travel day; Sun May 24 is arrival recovery.
| Day | Sprint 1 | Sprint 2 | Other |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon May 18 | Move admin 1 — visa, Schengen, banking | Cubbylist — triage open issues | Packing list draft |
| Tue May 19 | Move admin 2 — insurance, IVF supplies, paperwork | Expert network registrations (GLG, AlphaSights, Tegus) | Light pack — electronics, IVF supplies |
| Wed May 20 | Cubbylist — last shippable batch | Cubbylist — monitoring/alerts so you can ignore it from Brno | Lunch with one friend |
| Thu May 21 | Pre-write the stim-peak week plan | IVF consultancy asset — 1-page methodology outline | Pack — clothes, household |
| Fri May 22 | First Capture & Publish Lab — sketch brand decision | Light / optional · skip if done | Family, friends, final pack |
| Sat May 23 | Travel day — schedule collapses to airport rhythm | ||
| Sun May 24 | Arrival recovery — light unpack, walk, early sleep | ||
Thursday Sprint 1 — pre-writing the stim-peak week — is the highest-leverage item this week. If anything else slips, that one doesn't.
Three paths, ranked. Option 1 is cleanest — once set up, the recurring blocks just live in your calendar.
| Option | How | Effort |
|---|---|---|
| 1 — ICS import (recommended) | Generate a .ics file with recurring events (RRULE for weekdays/weekends). Import via Google Calendar → Settings → Import & Export → Select file → Choose calendar → Import. | 5 min once file exists |
| 2 — CSV import | Google Calendar accepts CSV with Subject/Start/End/Repeat columns. Less flexible for recurring rules. | 10 min |
| 3 — Manual entry | Add each block as a recurring event in the GCal UI. Easy to tweak but slowest. | 30–45 min |
Recommended setup: create a dedicated "Sabbatical" calendar in GCal first (separate color, hideable on overwhelming days). Time zone anchored to Europe/Budapest. Events start June 1, 2026 and recur weekly until Nov 18, 2026.
