Our goals

Healthy second child — by fresh or frozen transfer.
Bank embryos — ideally more than one viable embryo at the end. Goal is maximizing banked embryos before any transfer.
Time-lapse + embryologist review for selection — replaces PGT-A as selection methodology (decided May 10, 2026 after Nagy Melinda consult).
Budget — aim ~$25K CAD (one Canada cycle), willing to go up to $50K CAD if needed to meet goals 1–3.
Timeline — window is the months after Andrea turns 40, do as much as possible before end of 2026.

On # of cycles: derived from budget + statistical guidance, not a fixed input. Plan: 2–3 retrievals at Repromeda for banking; transfer at tail end of HU trip.

Decision factors

In-clinic monitoring > HU partner. Operator continuity matters — plan ~2 trips to clinic city per cycle.
Brno > Prague on distance. ~6 round trips over 3 cycles = location is a real cost. Brno-based clinics pick up weight.
Doctor quality, probabilistic communication. Filková (Repromeda), Stasna (IVF Cube), Maderka (ReproGenesis) lead.
Reputation + personal references = tier-1 weight. Reprofit retained on refs despite firm-no on gender. Eszti's ReproGenesis input weighted equal to consult quality.
Sex-selection flexibility = tiebreaker, not a filter. Don't eliminate on this alone.
